In the vibrant landscapes of Taiwan, especially within Da Jia in Taichung and Yuanli in Miaoli, there exists a tradition rich with the art of weaving rushes—a tall plant akin to grass, historically utilized in crafting baskets and chair seats. In the project of Twist Rush, I invite you on a journey to rediscover and breathe new life into this timeless craft. Through my dedicated research and innovative adaptations of traditional methods, I have reimagined the potential of rushes. My efforts ensure the preservation of their unique identity while showcasing them in a new light. Rushes have now transcended their traditional roles, integrating seamlessly into daily life and becoming a symbol of cultural value and sustainability.
在台灣蒼翠生機的風景中，特別是台中的大甲和苗栗的苑裡，流傳著一門豐富的傳統藝術——藺草編織工藝。藺草是一種高大的植物，傳統上用來編織草帽和椅子底座。在「轉轉藺草材質實驗計畫」中，邀請您一同重新探索這門永恆的手藝，並為其注入新生命。透過我對傳統技法的深入研究和創新改造，重新詮釋了藺草的潛力。保留它們的獨特，並以全新的面貌展現。藺草已超越傳統角色，融入日常生活，成為文化價值和可持續性的象徵。
